- Irrigation methods: drip, sprinkler, canal, rainwater harvesting
- Water conservation techniques (mulching, bunding)

- Selection of seeds and varieties (hybrid, GM, indigenous)
- Nursery raising and transplantation
- Integrated crop management (ICM)
- Sowing, weeding, harvesting, and post-harvest care
